This film is a "oner", a continuous, unbroken shot. Under the restrictions of the 48 Hour Film Project which the movie was made for, there is a seven minute time limit. There were 8 full takes completed. The one presented in the final product is the fifth take and is one single frame from exceeding the time limit.
"Hello Dolly" is mentioned in the endless conversation. Actor David Geisler, who is playing Swenson, and writer/director T.C. De Witt starred in a production of "Hello Dolly" in 1998 portraying Cornelius and Horace respectively.
The bingo sign on the building and the attempted Christoph Waltz impersonation being "It's a Bingo!" was a happy coincidence. The writing team had no idea there would be a sign with the word. Timed as the line was delivered with the appearance of the clown in the same frame as the sign led to naming the character "Bingo the Clown" to complete the hat-trick.
The working title of the film was "Cops Inside".
Chad Halvorsen reprises two characters in this film. His Russian gangster Yuri is leading the gun smuggling in the background. Yuri was previously seen in "Screen: Righter" (2016), "This One Last Time" (2015), and "Violet" (2015). Chad's shock jock DJ character Wildman from "The Noize" (2013) can be heard on the car radio along with his co-host The Goose portrayed once again by Candace Ostler.
