Almost a perfect start of the season

Warning: Spoilers
Very good start of the season.. The only thing that I did not like is that there was no previous mention of Kenny the ripper beforehand.. such a major character should have been at least mentioned once to add to the "legitimacy" of the character..

All in all, the episode was very good with two very tense and surprising moments

Great opening

I've read the manga for this episode already but the anime just great. Almost nothing is chopped off from the manga and all is covered properly. Music and voice is great.

Terrific season opener
TheFirst015 April 2021
You can feel it in the pace of the episode that it is probably the best season opener of Attack on Titan. The show is starting to become like Game of Thrones with the the political elements, and all the intrigue going on with the military police and the newly found character Kenny. I didn't expect this to be as good as it was, and I'm liking that they're incorporating more of what we haven't known of the past two seasons which is revealing about the church people and the military police which I'm sure they must be brewing something together. I also loved how they made the ending different from previous seasons where it fuses with the credits.

Kenny the Ripper!

This episode was the perfect start to Aot season 3 and left an excellent cliffhanger, and unlike last season Levi is going to be one of the most prominent characters throughout the 24 episode arc.

Kinda rushed in my opinion

Warning: Spoilers
First thing: New opening is ok, but it doesn't really fit with previous 3 openings (and it's not as good, but like I said "ok").

Most of the things in this episode felt kinda rushed...that doesn't mean it's bad, but I would prefer slower pace (more time for characters and that stuff).

Example (2 that come to my mind): Story of Historia wasn't really explored...they just went on the mission. And Eren/titan scene was also very fast...sure Eren can regenerate, but damn, Eren looked like freaking skeleton, how is that not a big deal (I guess not?). And after that they just time-skip, and Eren was fine...not like he was missing half of his face moments ago. I know he can regenerate, but that was just too fast, there was almost no concern...

To sum it up; interesting episode, but too rushed.

Well done start for the new arc

Warning: Spoilers
This was definitely a great start to season 3 and the Uprising arc. The fast pace was a great strategy not only to make the viewer pay more attention to the story, but to make us more curious about what's going to happen next. I know some hate it, but i love the new OP. It's much more cheerful and calming but i think it fits the arc. Although it would be better suited for an ED. I think the change of art style was an excellent choice. It's more detailed and the characters look mature. I also loved the scene with Armin and the kidnappers. Absolutely hilarious. The ending with the introduction of a new character was well done. So far an intriguing start.

Great episode with 1 drawback

Warning: Spoilers
How exactly am I supposed to take a dude named Kenny seriously?

And why was this seemingly major character never mentioned before?

A Game of Thrones Vibe?

The pace of the episode makes it clear that this is probably the best season opener of Attack on Titan. The show is starting to resemble Game of Thrones with its political elements and the intrigue involving the military police and the newly introduced character Kenny. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was, and I appreciate that they're incorporating more of the unknown elements from the past two seasons, revealing more about the church people and the military police, who I'm sure are up to something together. I also loved the different ending from previous seasons, where it merges with the credits.

A very great start. I feel that this season is much better than the previous seasons. We will make a big leap in events. Things will accelerate more, and the episodes will become more exciting and complex.

Very interesting episode I feel very excited .

9.3/10, Amazing

I decided to start the third season so that I can get to the second part of this season, which has Hero and Perfect Game. I think that this is definitely one of my least favorite Attack On Titan Episodes, but overall, this was still a great episode in general. I want to see if each season really is better than the last for my personally, so I decided to start this bad boy up. Anyways, my favorite characters in this episode were Levi, Mikasa, and Eren. My favorite things about this episode were the ending, the action, and the antagonists. I can't wait to see the next episode because of the ending.
