Craig Petrie is taken in for intense questioning after his handwriting is identified by Blake on an incriminating piece of evidence. Blake's house is searched, and special attention is paid to his locked office, where they discover unusual interviews with his students, of course he denies any involvement. Leighton's dark past comes back to haunt him as his ex cell mate Tench arrives, wanting to get Leighton back into a life of crime, when Leighton refuses Tench wields a knife and goes off the rails.
After the last episode, which I thought was very much on the poor side, I had almost written this series off, but what a surprise, this was very good, it flowed better, it was somehow better acted, and it boasted lots of moments of intrigue and suspense, a very definite improvement.
The introduction of Tench made a huge difference, a character with a dark past and lots going on, he made the episode very watchable.
