A lot ... of nothing
kosmasp19 August 2021
So if you like people talking about stuff ... conjuring theories, making other stuff up. Well you are right here. There is some merit and there are things that might make you think about Aliens in a different light. If they exist that is. Or in what form they may exist (which is one of the topics we get here).

There are many scientists and professors that do speak here. But even they can just base their speculations and theories in whatever knowledge we (and/or they) have at the moment. So there are some interesting aspects to this, but overall nothing concrete ... yet.

A mess of a documentary

Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this on curiositystream. This has some useful information for the lay person. However, the way it is presented is a complete mess. One minute it talks about aliens invading then the next microbes on Mars, then back to aliens invading etc etc. It is also made to try and give the impression that all they say is facts. For instance it strongly suggests aliens definitely are coming, which is not true; that they are going to invade Earth, again not true; that there is in fact life outside our Planet, again not a true fact, because we have no evidence to back any of this up.

To add to this it has a completely over the top background music which tries to make it sound like something very important and imminent is going to happen, and a narrator who sounds like he narrating a move trailer. They even use fake scenes with actors that witness the aliens coming.

They try to tell us that scientists have just found a Sun with a planet around it, 51 Pegasi b and that this is the only exoplanet that has been found. In fact there are literally thousands of exoplanets that have been found. 51 Pegasi b was discovered in 1995, the documentary was made in 2016, so their research for the film is terrible. Also all interviews with scientists who they have hand chosen to confirm the narrative that we are going to be invaded, via skype, which leads to very poor quality images.

They don't need the over the top music, narrator, and made up 'facts'. The youtuber Isaac Arthur, makes better videos that are more accurate and watchable then this.

Waste of my time

Self-proclaimed Experts making one assumption after the other. Silly interludes of supposingly real world scenarios on what could happen. Level of information: Zero.! It's absolutely awful.
