I actually enjoy it. It's a good show for napping on the couch if you love cooking shows but don't want to focus. It is beautifully made but to be honest it's like a fake show you see in the background of a real tv show, you know? You can actually follow the recipes if you are like me and just good at guessing and experimenting in the kitchen, but If you want to follow a recipe in detail, this isn't for you.

fun to watch--a little campy

I enjoy watching Jessica. She's funny, and reminds me of Betty Furness who could make you believe she cooked in high heels and pearls. ;-) Besides her over-the-top cheerfulnes, which I find fun, she drops hints and explains why certain techniques or ingredients work or make the end result better--I can find recipes anywhere, but technique and information are not usually included.

I watched for maybe 5 minutes and she stuck her fingers into the creams and mixes at least 4 times to suck the sweets off her fingers, never washed her hands, touched various spoons and appliances and then stuck her filthy fingers back into the mixes to suck the mixes off again ! I 'll pass on this one.

Horrible annoying no recipes

This is the worst cooking show ever. There's no recipes. The host is super ANNOYING and stupid! The set is hideous. The music gives a headache and changes volume constantly. Not a clue how this made it to air! Someone needs to be fired for that one. Don't bother watching this you wont learn anything

Jessica McGovern makes amazing baked goods without pretension. Her homestyle flair is enjoyable and entertaining. What is fascinating is that her hair and make up are always on point. Exceptional. Beautiful food from a beautifully coiffed woman. Truly a great show IMO. A+

A Very Useless Baking Show

At the end of the episode, I still don't know how to bake anything. Thanks! If you want a cooking show not give you any info about ingredients or process, and just watch her smile at the camera and eat, this show is for you.

Super annoying show!

Sad to see the host acting like a 16 year old girl.. This show is super annoying and they don't give recipes. They probably expect us to visit their website to get the recipes.

Show gives some good ideas and explains alot of methods for making different types of treats and the Retro flair makes it entertaining, If you want detailed recipes you can get it from their web sight.
