Themain point of the film is to discuss about ethics and political doctrines with a special focus on anarchy. I don't know the source material and I don't think I will ever read it.
The production value is on par with the low budget and just above mediocrity: stylish in its 2 actors-theater resembling vibe but the acting is forgettable and the sound/music department feels more weird than original.
I have to admit I have a problem with philosophical-scientific issues reviewed outside the scientific community media (strictly in written form): being it the pedagogical pop-science or any entertainment product, their main objective is to sell and not scientific. Things there often feel (scientifically) amateurish and superficial and - of course - not as entertaining as something that doesn't try so hard to teach you a lesson.
Nonetheless, although I don't recommend "Il banchiere anarchico" - being potentially thought provoking - it's still better than 99% of the movie industry trash that gets produced.
