They're all here

The obligatory, I've written the theme song for a movie and cue flash scenes of the cast. However, definitely cool that they got the whole cast to actually participate in the video.

John Parr: St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion) (1985)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

This here really isn't your typical music video because it offers so much more. John Parr had a couple hits to his name but there's no question that the title track to the picture ST. ELMO'S FIRE was his biggest and the one he's most remembered for today. The 1980s gave us some terrific music video and this one here is certainly one of the most remembered one thanks in large part to it featuring the majority of the cast from the film. Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, Demi Moore, Mare Winningham and Ally Sheedy all appear here and it's a lot of fun because it makes the video seem like some sort of follow-up to the picture. The song itself is a great one and quite catchy so getting to see the stars with Parr was a lot of fun.

Warning: Spoilers
John Parr's St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion) was a huge hit when it was released in 1985 in conjunction with the Brat Pack movie St. Elmo's Fire. The movie and the video starred Demi Moore (who later married Bruce Willis), Emilio Estevez, Rob "Wayne's World" Lowe, Andrew McCarthy (who later became an acclaimed travel writer), Judd "Suddenly Susan" Nelson, Ally Sheedy, and Mare Winningham. This video is in fact like the I'll be there video for Friends, where the Friends cast interact with the band, and here the Brat Pack interact with John Parr. It's hard to believe the Brat Pack are now old enough to be grandparents. Where has the time gone init.
