I had a feeling the first part was going to be a bit on the slow side, this second episode however was absolutely brilliant. Part two had it all, it was gripping, intense, beautifully acted, and as for Dougray Scott, his Sir Percival is fabulous, it's been a long time since I've seen some powerful villainy, he's making the drama darker, more tense, and more captivating. Last week, Ben Hardy and Olivia Vinall stole the show, this week it was very much Scott and Jessie Buckley that shone, the acting was spellbinding.
I loved Ordeal by Innocence recently, but if this standard keeps up, this will be the drama of 2018. Fabulous, 9/10
