In the televised version of the episode, towards the end when Mikasa begins her assault on Reiner and Bertholdt, Mikasa slices off Reiner's right hand. When Mikasa goes after Bertholdt and is about to strike him down, Reiner shoves her away. During this brief moment it is seen that Reiner's right hand is perfectly intact. The extraordinary music, the brilliant animation, the tension and the revelation. This episode was able to produce all kinds of emotions, and to maintain that state for 24 minutes. I really don't have more words to describe the episode, it needs to be watched to experience the piece of art that it is.
