These slightly under 4 minutes we got here are the music video for the Madonna song "Who's That Girl". It is from the Madonna movie with the same title and managed a Golden Globe nomination where it lost to Dirty Dancing in the Best Song category. This may not be one of Madonna's deepest songs, but it is pretty catchy and enjoyable I would say. And Madonna looks really fine in here from start to finish walking the streets and dancing. And they used some of the recordings from the movie too, which is good because it creates a certain connection. Haven't seen the film (yet), but the song's spirit makes me kinda curious. This is from 1987, so it has its 30th anniversary this year and even if I somehow enjoyed it, I must still say it is not even my Madonna favorite from that particular year. Checking it out once is probably enough. The two directors Rosenthal and Foley worked with Miss Ciccone on many occasions. Who's that girl? It's Madonna during the years when she was married to Sean Penn and her fans can certainly check this one out.

This spark lighted at the end of our 1987 summer vacation watching Madie performance live on French TV on a saturday night with my grandmother and waiting our parents to come back home after visiting their ailing father!
