Bad technical aspect, but one hell of a movie.

Some of the lighting is horrible although still watchable and somehow feels realistic, it is not a good way to light the scene.

Some of the gun sounds felt cheap. Especially in the background.

And also there's a lot of unreasonable reaction by the characters when the story unfold. A couple hits and misses to pay off a character story and some of the good and genuine dialogue mixed with unorganic one.

BUT

Despite all that, i still liked the movie. The overall story is good. I enjoyed every plot that unfold a long the movie. A very moraly grayish potrayal of rebels and the Army. With some of the best performances that felt genuine from the cast especially at the third act.

Not the most action packed thriller movie, but the premise of a night bus going through the conflict area and hitting is authentic enough to make audience thrilled at every plot.

It's just such a shame the movie didn't offer any subtitle since the languange is Bahasa mixed with heavy malay accent and terms.

But still a very good movie and i can see why this movie Won yhe Best Picture in FFI.

Not worth your time and money

Warning: Spoilers
I can only see 10% of the movie, really BAD lighting and awful sound mixing. The background noise and music is too loud, and i can barely hear what the actor is saying. I speak Bahasa, but i depend on the English Subtitle to know what the actors are saying. The plot is inconsistent and dramatic event are placed in wrong tempo. Even the actors are visible only at the beginning and the ending of the movie. Very disappointed that this movie won the FFI 2017.
