They said Austin Noble had a Volkswagen Jetta. When they showed the car it was a Volkswagen Golf.
The BOLO is for a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, whats shown is a Golf 3 that was used until ca. 1999 in North America. The Golf is a hatchback version of the Jetta.
When Bailey is trying to assure Bowman about his interaction with the dolphin, she says they go by smell. Dolphins do not even have smell and use echolocation to "see."
Not only was the son's car not a Jetta, but a Golf, but that model also wasn't even built in 2007. If there was a "7" in the manufacturing date, then it was a 1997, and two generations behind a 2007 model. The VW shown was a MK3 (1995 - early1999), whereas a 2007 would be a MK5 (late 2005 - 2009). These two generations of cars not visually similar to each at all. However, they did get the colour right.
In the dream sequence, when Riggs spits out the bullet, it's the whole untouched projectile. Not counting possible caliber errors there is little chance a Former Navy Seal and police officer wouldn't know that bullets deform. If the bullet in question hadn't sufficiently deformed Riggs would have been shot/killed as the bullet would have gone through its target at close range from a previously demonstrated deer rifle.
However, it's a dream that Riggs does not control and showing the full bullet helps the audience understanding quickly what it is.
