Bad casting, acting and direction. The perpetrator is totally unconvincing and delivers his lines like an amateur. The interviewer seems intent on trying to annoy the audience by her nonchalant performance. The script doesn't help the terrible acting but the Director needs to carry the can for failing to stop the train leaving the tracks.
