It has been so much fun watching new episodes of this great cartoon the entire month. This episode features Gumball being depressed that he doesn't have any special abilities. That's actually an interesting topic to bring up, because most of the characters in this show really do have magic abilities of some kind. With Gumball, I think he technically does have some because one time he grew all these arms and he shapeshifted a few times and he's pretty much immune to all mental damage and a lot of physical too. Those are just things that are gags and aren't really part of his normal routine. I guess he doesn't really have any abilities.
It's pretty obvious that the witch here has the same voice as Granny Jojo. I think my favorite part is when Gumball and Darwin appear as these giant wizards, but it turns they're just high or something. Gumball has to fight a giant troll. Well, he's a troll in every sense of the word. We really do get some great jokes and even some interesting battle scenes while we're at it. There's this one part where Gumball literally talks out of his butt. He says it's more of an ailment than an ability. It's just great to see the episode end with him saying funny line after funny line and that's literally what saves the day. ***1/2
