Kasi makes an unexpected inheritance: Uncle Walther has left him a boat. At the harbor, he meets actress Nova Meierhenrich, who offers him her help. The two of them soon spot Kasi's boat: the "Woody", a house raft in poor condition.
Kasi soon realizes that life on the water requires very special know-how and is more expensive than he initially thought. His houseboat needs a new floor. Fortunately, he meets Mariella Ahrens, who helps him out with a clever deal.
The Woody's engine no longer starts. Kasi's plan to offer tours on his houseboat falls through. Then he comes across an advert from Gedeon Burkhard, who wants to get his go-kart roadworthy. But the project is more difficult than expected.
Kasi goes for a spin. A new job opportunity arises: actor Claude-Oliver Rudolph brings his old Cadillac in for repairs. Kasi and him are immediately on the same wavelength, and not just when it comes to cars and boats, but also fishing.
Kasi begins with improvements to the "Woody". Afterwards, the houseboat shines in new splendor and even attracts a well-known face: actor and presenter Thomas Ohrner, who has been toying with the idea of buying a houseboat for a long time.
The time has come - Captain Kasi's historic boat trips can begin. And then the phone rings: country legend Gunter Gabriel is looking for a mooring for his own houseboat. Would Kasi have a tip for him? He certainly does.
