Two young brothers, Manuel and Gabbie, have just learned that their oldest brother, Javier, died serving as a US Marine in Iraq. To cope with Javier's passing, the boys must bury a special memento to their deceased brother made out of Popsicle sticks. So they set out on a citywide journey to do so.
