- The whole episode is very intense and dark. The appearance of the Mondasian Cyberman can be very frightening.

- Bill is shot in the chest and a large burnt hole is shown. Quite graphic.Several half converted cybermen are shown, it is strongly implied they feel pain.A cyber- patient is punched from behind.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- This is probaly one of the darkest episodes in the shows history since the 80's. The cybermen are handled in a macabre manner as the colonists on the ship are reveled to be sick and dying so they upgrade themselves. After bill is shot she wakes up with a metal heart and a chest unit implanted into her body. Cyber - patients are shown in a very scary way with pipes going through their nostrils etc. Bill is then later revealed to be a fully converted cyberman which may be emotional for some viewers.
