A wonderful documentary on the life of MARIO LANZA. He was definitely one of the greatest singers ever. He unfortunately died at a very early age, 38, but he will be remembered forever.

I recommend to anyone who is interested in the origins of pop or tenor music of the 50ies.
Because this documentary opened wide my eyes for a person who was later idol for many coming super stars like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Luciano Pavarotti and so on. Apart his voice Mario Lanzas character was unique. He lived for his voice and didn't want to be influenced by managers ideas if he was not convinced.
It shows his full biography narrated by several persons who know how Maria Lanza lived and what he gave for the music even when he died so young. This is an important story that you shouldn't miss. You will only understand if you watch until the end. 8/10.
