Even with the god-throat of the nature king Attenborough this is a fairly standard (if not standardly charming) bit of "following a wildlife project" Natural Worldery. Here we're with a Brazilian team attempting to track and rehabilitate the beautiful and elusive (if not beautifully elusive) jaguar. Their attachment to the massive felines, and their earnest desire to see them thrive despite the encouraging is deeply endearing and the photography is excellent as always. The dark afterthought is what must have become of the project (and the jaguars) in the turbulent years Brazil has faced since this was filmed.
