Sex & Nudity

  • while hiding inside the bear cave earlier in the movie, Humphrey tries to cheer Kate up and suggests they should "take advantage" of the "alone time" together.
  • there are quite a few nuzzling scenes with Kate and Humphrey. at one point, Humphrey nuzzles Kate on the neck, making her murr slightly.

Violence & Gore

  • this is the most action-packed sequel of the franchise, containing a lot of fighting and chases. it can get a little bit violent at times, but most of it is pretty tame.
  • Humphrey gets hit by a bear, that sends him rolling backwards in the snow and bumping on a rock.
  • in the final fight, King gets real close to killing Runt, but Kate and Humphrey violently tackle him to the ground.
  • some of the violence in the movie are done for slapstick and laughs, such as Lyle and Link running into boulders over and over again.
  • in one scene, Brent falls through the ice and almost drowns.

Profanity

  • "damn" and "hell" are used a few times (just like in the other movies of the franchise)
  • "crap" is heard twice. "freaking" is used 3 times.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • the entire concept of the movie, of having a deadly blizzard that traps Kate and Humphrey in the Eastern Valley can be disturbing, since it gives off the sense of claustrophobia and isolation.
  • a lot of suspenseful moments in this movie, including moments where the pups are almost killed by the villains.
