This high-concept low-budget short story does a lot with a little. a great reminder that as long as your frame is small and your focus is tight and you are willing to get creative with monster lore, you can have the feeling of a whole horror world and mythos with just a couple conversations.

The Jenna Pall performance and the use of light in her case are, for me, the leading virtues of this beautiful and seductive and well crafted short romance-horror about death, immortality, the last gift and a fist of ash.
