17-year-old William takes the International Mathematical Olympiad exam. He's diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and loves maths more than anything else, so he assumes he'll win a medal in the competition which he hopes will help him reconnect with another student in the exam, Sarah, who he used to be friends with. However, the weight of his goals and incomprehension of why the friendship ended distracts him from solving the questions.
