Backflips on a mountain bike may seem crazy to some - but to those willing to brave the unforgiving terrain of the Utah desert - it's only the beginning. Mix world-ranked athletes with the beautiful backdrop of Zion National Park and you have all the makings of an event born to challenge even the most daring of freeride mountain bikers. "A History Of...Heavy Lines and Desert Drops" features ten years of extreme mountain bike progression at the Red Bull Rampage. We take an inside look at how one pioneer's wacky idea inspired professionals, adrenaline junkies and fans alike to push the limits of what's possible on two wheels. "Heavy Lines and Desert Drops" follows the event history with American riders Cameron Zink, Kyle Strait and Canadian 2x Champion, Kurt Sorge, as they turn their hard work and perseverance into jaw-dropping runs. Pushing the limits - and spectator's minds - these riders defy the status quo and inspire fellow riders to attempt the unimaginable. Event visionary, Josh Bender, takes us on a journey from the inception of this questionable mountain event to the prestigious and progressive staple it has become in the freeride community. Celebrating it's 10 Year Anniversary, we take a look back at Red Bull Rampage and it's biggest challenges, broken bones, milestones and triumphs.
