Not Too Bad

This show is alright, I enjoy watching it and the many shows like it. But like a previous reviewer stated, some of the information (in the series) is either incorrect/wrong or has changed and not updated. The most confusing part about the series are the episodes and the order they're suppose to run - the IMDb Episode guide is totally different to others, and seems to have episode titles that either hasn't been shown and/or never existed.

...but for the love of god pleeaasse rotate the resident experts out and bring in some that can memorize at least one complete sentence. Its painful to watch their eyes literally following the line on the teleprompter as they read off the monotone story line. C'mon man! Ive heard more animation in third grade story time. If you can get past that its all right and will kill some time for sure.

Lacks personal insight

All of the crimes explained and portrayed are shocking and interesting.

However, the emotionally detached and conveyor belt explanations don't serve well.

Personally, I'm interested to learn about true crime and I'm intrigued to learn about the facts surrounding crimes of notoriety.

This series, however, fell short in its narrative.

Why did they bring that irritating British woman in? I'm British but her voice is so annoying and incongruent to the over the top narrator and normal U.S experts. She is in a few uk shows and she's still like nails down a blackboard in shows full of our accents. Info is up and down but over all its a goodles time killer(I know)

Interesting stories but choppy retelling & wrap-up flashes briefly in text

This rates low on my favorite true crime series because of the shuffling of presenters who are mostly low-end prompt-readers. What possible interest does it add to have 3 or 4 different presenters speak different parts of the same paragraph while attempting to seem interested and informed? Also after watching the entire show, the final wrap-up is just a couple lines of text very flashed on the screen for a few seconds. If you're flicking ashes or adjusting your blanket you'll miss it and find yourself wondering why your streaming platform is now running the credits and asking if you want to watch the next episode. You'll feel like they forgot to tell you what happened when you finally realize they snuck it in ever so briefly just before the credits. If you are a slow reader or need your glasses for this 5 second portion of the show, you'll have to pause the screen. Personally, I just don't really watch this one as much as I would like because of this thoughtless design. All that talking and they don't have one person who can audibly tell me what happened?

Fast, often weak erroneous details. Just a quick choppy recap of countless other shows on the same crimes. Terrible wall reading script detail experts. Wastes/fills alot of time with these terrible wall reading experts that we don't need that just the narrator alone could do better. In case you have missed these crimes in countless other episodes as mentioned then HOPEFULLY you have a pause or rewind button to catch the lightning fast blurb(s) at the end telling you what you really wanted to know all along on what became of the criminals with sentencing.

out of date and incomplete

Date of production is 2015. Date of this review is 2022. Shows are well presented but out of date. There is no update or review of current status murderers. Case of chandra levy is example. Guandique is no longer is prison and has been deported.

It makes me Dizzy

Photography is too fast , clips too many , watching this program makes me dizzy. They take a bunch of facts and throw them against the wall to see if they stick , but before you can decide, they flash another scene before you eyes . They have some interesting crimes but the presentation is jerky and tiring to watch. I don't think that they are presenting this for the viewer , just taking random clips and pasting them together to call it a show , so they can run commercials. If you think I don't like ,you would be correct. This show was made by a film editor in the back room with no feedback .Unless you have good eye sight , please be careful watching this.
