I admit that this episode starts off pretty slow, particularly with how it doesn't focus on the Watterson family. We get this news reporter named Kip who appears to be a live-action newspaper with clothes on. As the episode goes on, it does get much better. There's not that much plot except that the reporter is trying to find news even though there's nothing happening. I laughed when they did the bit with Daisy Donkey. They have a puppet show featuring her and treat her like an actual celebrity. She gets into a literal fight with her co-worker puppet. We actually get to see a live-action puppeteer have his hands fight each other with the puppets.
It then mentions that Daisy is going to do community service. We then see the man cleaning up litter with the mouth of the puppet. Well from another episode, we knew Daisy Donkey was unstable! There's another great bit where he goes to the sports and it features this hilarious mascot puppet thing yell about sports. Trust me, it's funnier than it sounds. There's even some nice bits at the end where Kip is fighting with another puppet or whatever technique they're using. Not a masterpiece, but something you want to see the whole way through. ***1/2
