Warning: Spoilers
Another great episode with heart.

A stray bullet kills an elderly woman sitting on the couch in her apartment. We see the gang warfare at its worst and none other than a woman, with quite a mouth, the head of one of the gangs. She is vicious and will even kill a fellow gang member if she is thinking that they will tell who fired the fatal bullet. By the episode's end, we know why she thought like this.

We also see a scam against the elderly when Anthony's Alzheimer's stricken widowed mother, makes withdrawals up to $30,000 to give to one of these blood sucker's.

The ethical dilemma found by Frank when he laces into a police officer he catches texting and smoking while on the job. Frank issues him a summons and as the young cop has a good reputation, Frank gets fallout from the local cop's station. What a diplomat Frank is is in the way he handles the situation.

A Most Personal Interest

The Reagan family dinner almost turns into a roast for Tom Selleck. Seems that he caught a young cop smoking and texting on the job and came down hard on him. It's gotten around the department and the commissioner is catching heat. The young cop is played by Daniel Abeles and he's popular with his peers and something of a wit and a wise guy too.

Bridget Moynahan and her investigator are taking a most personal interest in a con man preying on elderly citizens with a touch of Alzheimer's Disease. This is personal because the victim here is Michael Barra's mother.

Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez are having a lot of trouble with catching a gang banger. But a crackdown in truancy and kid's and their smart phones and passion for recording every stupid thing they do help make his case.

All in all a nice episode. Donnie Wahlberg even gets some left handed help from one of his sons.
