I have never watched a documentary series so deeply touching, whilst being so relevant to our time. Refugees were given smartphones to film their journeys using the perfectly placed technique of user generated content. This is storytelling at its best - never has a documentary taken its audience so gut-wrenchingly close to the action. I would advise anybody and everybody to watch, no matter your political standing, race or religion. This is an startling observation of humanity today and one we feel deeper than we would by just watching the news. This is thanks to the admirable honesty and openness of each contributor and to the way they were introduced to the audience as normal people with normal lives, now destroyed and displaced. My words can't do this series justice. It is remarkable. Watch it.
