Plot Summary

Chester is a short drama comedy that tells the story of a older foreign gentlemen being reluctantly placed in a nursing home in the north of England. Unable to speak english, the man is perceived as a John Doe, and therefore has trouble engaging with other residents and staff. However over time and through the game of chess and the aid of a nurse Kelly, he is able to make friends and enjoy life again. However unfortunately a chess piece goes missing one day and everything begins to go back to the way it was, until ultimately a change of events puts everything right again.
