Well where can i begin. This movie had so much potential, being delayed multiple times and a few script changes. I was excited to finally see that it was on Amazon Prime. The plot also had a ton of potential if it was executed properly.... The acting from writer/director Zain Khan was disappointing and ruined the whole experience for myself. What is thought to be an emotional phone call which is unfortunately executed poorly. I felt no sympathy for Cillian and it ended up feeling like this 15 year old was on his period. The acting during the phone call (which is the majority of the film) felt forced, the character stutters to show the pain inside, however it sort of feels like he has some sort of speech problem. The film is far too short, even for a short film and could of easily lasted around 10 minutes longer. I would like to say that the best part of this film is Matt Seniors cinematography. After watching a few of his short films i am already a fan! The father figure was also good but nothing to save this movie. The Anton Yelchin tribute was touching but not right for this film. In the end, i would rather be banging and banging and banging my head than re watching this film. 13 minutes of my life i will most likely never get back.
