This film is about three Taiwan "aborigen" village boys, living in the middle of mountains and forests. They live happy life, even when each has family worries - father's alco-problem, mother who has abandoned when small etc. Still - their natural optimism, friendship and touchingly good relations with teachers and relatives are over all.
What I noticed in cinema, is that was kind of smiling all 90 minutes - just so enjoyable was this film. Stunning nature, lovely trio (how well and naturally they act for kids!), simple life and heartwarming moments. Not a comedy - but plenty of fun, mainly because these kids are so sincere. Some romance, some hard reality of life. No big ups or downs - but positive emotion is definite.
