Storyline

From his early struggles as a child growing up in a single parent household after the death of his father at a young age to his teenage years as a page in the US Senate to his years fighting as a soldier in World War II, all prior to his epic rise as one of the most recognizable and beloved comedians of his generation, Rip Taylor has lived one amazing life. With great perspective from living through generations of entertainment, Taylor takes the viewer through both his incredible life story and the history of entertainment, from Atlantic City to Vegas to Ed Sullivan to Jackass. It's an amazing journey of self discovery that teaches us all that no matter how strange the world believes you are or how little they want to accept you initially, you just have to be yourself. And yes, there's a lot of confetti.
