A Must See!
jomin964 May 2016
Finally we have a movie that says it all about the Arabs in Hollywood. Tired of the stereotype and the bad image of Arabs.... sometimes it goes beyond ridiculous and ignorance. Michael Singh took his camera and "in one stroke" - tore down the wall of bigotry and hatred against Arabs. The movie is incisive and in 100 minutes it goes to places that no one dared to go before. We need more Documentaries that has the honesty of saying things the way it should be said --- to your face! The choice of interviewees is very clever and eclectic - thus interesting opinions and take on history and Film history. If there is one movie you have to see this is the One. Bravo!

Best documentary on the subject ever made
santasa9930 August 2016
It's a best documentary on the subject ever made ! One could argue that is because it's only film on the subject ever made, but even with that possibility in mind this Documentary is outstanding, overwhelming, stunting, accurate, depictive, revealing, illuminating, informative, educational, and if you want it's a unique. It should be watched by as many westerners as possible, especially in this time and in this world, where we are sold on greatest evils of all - perpetuated war, infinite in deaths, money, and hate, in which enemies are well defined, faceless but recognizable through well established tropes based on hate, racism, prejudices and Islamophobia.

Outstanding, a must-see film

I watched this film after a long day at work and feared that when the lights dimmed I might nod off. Instead, I was immediately captivated and found myself sitting at the edge of my seat. Here at last is a film that describes how—and more importantly WHY—Arabs and Muslims continue to be vilified in Hollywood and our mainstream press. If future filmmakers and voters had the opportunity to watch this extraordinary documentary in high school or university classes the United States could put a stop to the offensive stereotypes that wound Arab- and Muslim- Americans, not to mention others, older folks—like me—who yearn for an inclusive welcoming America where everyone has equal value.
