Very good anime with every pinch of everything
puneetsharma92 October 2018
First clear that I don't like every character look as child that not look good.

Very good cute romantic anime with action, suspense, friendship and every pinch as possible it fell like a full metal but little bit inferior as some episode feel flat and not need to be there (only 3 are however). Also there is lot of flashback repeat, i think one flashback is enough it look like a waste. Characters are strong Hero and heroin feel same powered in most of series that is good balance.

Hero and Heroin suffer some troma from pasts that sufferings has different effect that cause hero to ditch to be path of strong Exorcists and cause heroine to path of strong Exorcists. But they suppose be together are its fate.

It found out the child of those two can save and became savior of mankind but without any other information may be suppose to suspense. But the starting of couple is not pleasant as they want to be on different path. But heroine pull hero in the path of strong Exorcists again which lost in time as they decide to be strong together and very turn of event very of suspense.

Finding about the suspense that start the guessing event turns of event are interesting. Chemistry between two are fine to be fair but love stories just start now.

To be fair they suppose to be strongest but they are no where near the 12 guardian which most of time interfere with the fight. But their power improving. Villeins every time look unbeatable usual underdog style but guardians or hero just pulls at the last time.

And story just hang around those two only look so much about love story and question is here is they gonna born a baby or not. Also the relation they are engage about most of it in this anime.

The Twin Stars
WeAreLive27 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Grotesque monsters known as Impurities reside in Magano, a realm parallel to the present day. Exorcists purify these evil apparitions to protect the people. Rokuro Enmado is opposed to becoming an exorcist, even though he has the talent to be one, but an oracle gives him the title of "Twin Star Exorcist," the name bestowed upon married exorcists. Benio Adashino, the girl who receives the title along with Rokuro, is determined to exorcise all the Kegare, or Impurities, in the world. The two find themselves wrapped up in more and more battles together as the Twin Star Exorcists.

It took me around a year but I managed to finish watching it yesterday. In my opinion it is a decent anime adaption with pretty stellar animation with really good character design, some killer sound track and a good quality dub.

Even though I never read the manga.

Come on. Give it a chance. It's outstanding.
alexbalderas49014 March 2022
It about two characters the Twin stars Rokoro and Benio. Now there relationship gets complicated in the beginning when they first meet and it gets even better in the end as they progress there relationship. They both may seem awkward and loud but You're gonna love them both but if your looking forward to seeing them share there love sadly it's at the very end. It's a handful of emotions as you continue wacthing it's all about Rokoro and benio remember that. So please give it a chance.

Entertaining and interesting in a good way.

Twin Stars Excorcists was a very fun watch. If you enjoy watching anime, I would certainly recommend giving this a view. It has a good story, good characters and a good setting. This anime is a story of rebirth, love and overcoming the monster which always keeps things interesting and the interactions of the two main protagonists keeps things entertaining. With that being said, there are some cliche moments that made me laugh, other moments that were a bit predictable and other moments a bit slow but in the end this was still worth a watch and I would definitely give it a rewatch. By the way, I never read the manga.

I hope this gets better...

Warning: Spoilers
So I am in the process of watching this (episode 15) and I enjoyed this up to episode 10 then what the hell? There was a good mix of comedy, action, drama, and serious side that gave it so much potential to be something more.

Up to episode 9 it accumulated to the boiling point where the drama and seriousness of what was taking place made this quite compelling. With the realization of numerous players, histories, and revelations involved and how the impact on Benio and Rokuro, the heart felt emotions at the end of episode 9 made me want to see more as they vowed to become serious and gain more power to overcome the deficiencies they lacked and to do it together. I was like "finally!", the two would become closer, work together and grow closer to their intimate romance....then there was episode 10. Just a complete 180 and a cut the feelings out of the previous episode back to zero. Rokuro is an idiot and whoever wrote his for his character is an idiot too. He vowed to become better and stronger, but all he did was yell at the people trying to help him, especially his superiors and Benio, and selfishly wanted to do everything himself without Benio, even though he knew he had to. He still just jumped into things without thinking when he knows he has to. Did I mention he yells ...A LOT... basically the most annoying thing about him. And he's constantly yelling over the stupidest things. JUST SHUT UP and think about your actions, you don't have to be an asshole. With all the trauma from his past and supportive friends around him, why did they write him like this? He's an ingrate and selfishly idiot. Really makes watching this show unbearable even though everything else is good. Also, Benio had a level head, smart and headstrong but still insists on belittling Rokuro even when she knows she can't afford to to that, like they both know and have been told NUMEROUS TIMES that they have to get closer to become stronger, and they VOW to become stronger, yet they both don't nearly take any of this seriously. It's agonizing. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

This could have been a god tier anime if they progressed it from episode 9 in the serious dramatic flow they had going, that they both shared a common goal and would do anything to achieve it, and they could have spliced in comedy along the way without deviating ftom that point. But no, they made them idiots.

So much potential, what a shame.

Best Anime Ever
sitinadami9 June 2020
This is my very first anime. The storyline is so fantastic. Even there were a lot of throwback moments, I didn't get confused with the story overall. The main characters were so much different from other anime, make this story be more exciting. There were a lot of Twin Star Exorcists eps, but you won't regret that. After a big trouble solved, there come another worse troubles.

You'll get inspired when you watch this anime because there were friendship, romance, school, fighting, struggle and comedy scenes. I didn't ever regret to watch this anime at all. It will be my most favourite anime of all time. :)

But please guys ,because the manga is better you guys are low rating this masterpiece. Guys give it a watch. Fighting scenes are over the top and i like the way their unique style of using powers. All characters are lovable and all the characters have some Stories. Decent story,Comedy,Action,Magic,Romance and last but not least happy ending.what you need more here??? Seriously this anime is so underrated and people are low rating this because of manga. Guys be mature and realistic. Dont spread hate over anything.

a wasted potential
chiratzu3 February 2019
This anime doesn't really know it's genre. It can't decide if it's about exorcism, if it's love comedy, or if it's something like... well, let me tell you it's garbage. Your brain will start to hurt when you watch this.

I was really expecting this to be a good anime since I read the manga. But as time goes on, this anime become more stale and boring to watch.

but is it the worst of all time? Na, at least they tried, but I would strongly advise that nobody watches this horrible pieces of garbage. Take your time at some better anime's such as Yu Yu Hakusho instead.

The manga is better.

The anime is pretty stale. I don't know if it's supposed to be comedic or to be taken seriously. Just pick up the manga instead.

Great start that struggles with "2nd season" syndrome
dameon_green6 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
"Twin Stars" begins with a few nice twists, from a powerful character too traumatized to keep following the path he started down to the scars he carries from the trauma being different than what was expected. Add on a well executed rival plot line that is the other half of a "fated" couple and their relationship that starts with hate and ends with respect and you've got a show a little deeper than the average anime and is very watchable.

But I suggest stopping at episode 20.

At that point "Second Season Syndrome" kicks in, mixing in Cyborg Girls, Mechas, Scooby Do monster of the week, random super powerful throw away bad guys and a build up that leads to allot of disappointment.

Pro's:
  • Great intros (several over the 50 episode run).
  • Solid English Dubbing.
  • Consistent Animation quality.
  • Core first half of the long run is very solid.

Con's:
  • Second season syndrome after episode 20 (Story and animation quality drop-off, etc.).
  • Random "child" addition that didn't make allot of sense.
  • To much time spent recapping.
  • Cheesy Trope character additions.
  • Ridiculous bad guy monologuing.

Its barely acceptable. I do not recommend watching this.
maxenen9 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'm on the 8th episode and I'm not sure if I want to continue watching it or not. I just want to let the writers know that they really failed to create a likable protagonist. The guy is weak in every sense of the word. He is socially weak in every situation he's been in so far, he allows everyone to trample all over him. Even his past. Remember when the head priest urinated on his beloved dead friends? The guy smiled when the ordeal was over. I was 100 percent sure he was going to clock the guy for talking about his precious friends in such a clearly provocative and offensive way. He openly mocked their deaths to the entire Exorcist order. What did the protagonist do instead? He smiled when the guy apologized. He's weak! You can't have a protagonist be plagued by a traumatic experience (especially friends that died) and not have him defend the honor of those involved. It really made a statement when he simply took the emotional and psychological abuse and then smiled when the priest said something along the lines of ''I was trying to provoke you, I didn't mean it''. He SMILED! Who does that? Why would you not have him act offended, give the guy a punch in the face and then say ''Apology accepted. But if you ever speak of them that way again I will not stop at breaking your nose, hentai-priest-sama.''

Also, he can't think for himself in times when it matters most. Its just bad writing. You have a guy that can one shot anything yet refuse to actually become stronger in any other regard (agility, wisdom, knowledge, social competence w/e). I do not recommend this series. A protagonist should be honest, seek strength, seek to protect, sacrifice himself for the greater good and be respected for it. Not trashed by everyone else in the entire series. Heck, even I can give him more complements than his closest friends and I don't like the guy. I can only assume that its supposed to be funny. But seriously, am I really expected to respect the main character when no one else in the series does? As I said, its bad writing and its a shame really.
