Roberta Findlay doesn't give too many interviews so when Shriek Show announced a string of releases for her films it was to the great pleasure of fans who say that she not only did audio commentaries but also featurettes. This one here lasts just under eleven minutes and features the director talking about her 1985 cult film TENEMENT. Findlay talks about the screenplay reminding her of the neighborhood she grew up in and then we get some stories about the production. These stories include how the shooting location was in between two gangs who were about to do a battle while filming was going on. She also talks about the controversy surrounding the film and its X rating. If you're a fan of the film or just the director then you'll enjoy hearing her talk about this film and some of the stuff that was going on behind-the-scenes. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but fans should enjoy hearing from the cult director.
