Storyline
Plot Summary |
A recreation from one of the world's greatest jam sessions. On December 4th, 1956 Carl Perkins' career was flying high from his hit "Blue Suede Shoes." New to the scene, Jerry Lee Lewis is brought in to work on a new song with Perkins. Then, lo and behold, superstar Elvis Presley and country music legend Johnny Cash stop by the studio for a visit. The songs they sang on that epic day became the concept for Million Dollar Quartet. A fun, inventive retelling of their impromptu recording session. |

Did You Know?
Trivia | The diner that Ike Turner steals the tip jar from in Season 1 Episode 3 is Dyer's, a legendary diner on Beale Street Famous for fried burgers. You can tell this is dyers from the location of the bar and stove, and the red, green, and black tiling on the back wall. Dyer's is still open to the public today. See more » |

Crazy Credits | John Holiday who portrays Carl Perkins in Fox's "Walk the Line", is back in Cash's band as Luther Perkins in "Sun Records". Played live guitar in both! Now that is a crazy credit. See more » |
