Second (last) day of filming: Whilst shooting the beach scene at Yarra Bay, La Perouse, the Production Manager who was looking on the from the quiet park / car park area suddenly noticed a deadly baby brown snake wrap around her ankle. In the commotion that followed, not knowing whether it had bit her or not, an ambulance was quickly called and rushed her to hospital. She was released from hospital the following day. She had not been bitten after all. Brown snake bites will cause almost immediate death. They are one of the most venomous snakes in the world.
First Day of Shooting: It was a clear day - blue skies, calm. Filming crew were on one end of a half mile stretch of empty road, the rest of the crew at the other end eating and resting under the shade of large catering tents. Suddenly out of the blue a diabolical mini cyclone just formed out of nowhere in front of them, ripping the tents from their bolts and spinning them in the air before crashing them on the ground and slightly injuring some cast and crew. Meanwhile high up in the sky pages of the script had been swept up and circling the skies and mistaken for birds by the filming crew on the other end of the road.
