Ratings: Gotham Returns Up, Timeless Hits Lows Minus Voice Lead-In

Fox’s Gotham returned on Monday night to 3.7 million total viewers and a 1.2 demo rating, up 9 and 20 percent from its fall finale to hit and match best-since-premiere numbers.

Leading out of that, Lucifer (4 mil/1.1) was steady with its own midseason opener.

Over on NBC, Celeb Apprentice (4.3 mil/1.2) ticked up 10 percent and a tenth. With a new lead-in that does about half of what The Voice did, Timeless (3.5 mil/0.9) returned down 27 percent and a tenth, hitting new lows.

ABC’s Bachelor (7.1 mil/2.4) rose 9 and 14 percent, Big Fan (2.7 mil/0.9) was steady. »

Timeless Scores Misha Collins as Guest Star Creating Mini-Reunion

Timeless returns tonight with a new episode, and showrunner Eric Kripke has already been actively tweeting his excitement about the return.

Of course, he has a lot more to tweet about than new installments of his latest series.

He's also blending his love of Supernatural with that of Timeless by announcing Misha Collins will be playing Eliot Ness on Timeless Season 1 Episode 15.

The episode will be fittingly titled "Public Enemy No. 1" and will feature Flynn traveling to 1931 Chicago to pair up with gangster Al Capone.

Our time traveling trio of heroes will partner up with the only man who can bring down Capone, federal agent Eliot Ness.

“When the Eliot Ness character first came up, I immediately thought of Misha, and I’m so thrilled to be working with him again,” Kripke said in a statement.

“Misha brings his charisma, his talent, and frankly, all of his angelic qualities to the role. »

‘Supernatural’ Reunion Staged on NBC’s ‘Timeless’ With Guest Star Misha Collins

Timeless” is staging a reunion between “Supernatural” star Misha Collins and creator Eric Kripke.

Collins is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of the NBC action-adventure drama, which will air on Feb. 13 at 10 p.m. He will portray historical figure Eliot Ness.

In the episode, titled “Public Enemy No. 1,” when Flynn (Goran Višnjić) travels to 1931 Chicago to partner with history’s most infamous gangster, Al Capone (Cameron Gharaee), the central characters (played by Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter and Malcolm Barrett) follow him and ally with the only man who can bring Capone down, Eliot Ness (Collins), the leader of the famous Untouchables.

“When the Eliot Ness character first came up, I immediately thought of Misha, and I’m so thrilled to be working with him again,” said executive producer and co-creator Eric Kripke. “Misha brings his charisma, his talent — and frankly, all of his angelic qualities to the role.”
