Who directed this one? *mini-spoiler*

This series has, production-wise, a distinctly soap-operatic feel. Think Ivory Soap but with added color, maybe gold flecks, and a nice perfume -- classy, sweet and musky, like a cultured sexy Mexican woman, naked on a pleasantly cool morning. In this episode, we get to see (and imagine the smell) of just that. That, and some honest conversation about business in the aftermath. That epitomizes, in a way, what the appeal of this series is all about. Strong women and strong men, personal honor, the battle of the sexes, money, power, revenge, survival, saving the human soul from perdition, and so on. All the maudlin themes of drama and tragedy since, oh, around the time of Sophocles et. al. Nothing new admittedly and yet, adding to those tired, hackney formulas like the ones Shakespeare depended on, great casting, good writing or better, and better than average production values generally (love the locations and the light), and it is just barely passable as entertainment. I mean it most cheekily.

Who directed this one? Why isn't the director's name visible along with the rest of "full cast and crew". Anyway, I like this director. Also the editing and shots. And also seeing the Queen in the saddle. That is, being the saddle and playing horsy. Yeah! Feel that morning chill burn off fast!
