I am a huge fan of We Bare Bears and this episode is a real treat because it takes the viewer through a range of outcomes which we don't see revealed until the end, and all credit to the writing team.
Here Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear team up to play basketball amongst the young folk, but they lose big time. Panda even breaks his arm. But Charlie wants to join them, although he cannot reveal his true identity as a bigfoot type creature.
Anyway, Grizzly and Ice Bear relent and allow Charlie to join them, and whilst they have fleeting thrills when Charlie (dressed as a bear!) easily slam dunks, they get sick of it, saying they'd rather lose with Panda than win with Charlie!! They kick Charlie off the team, and he has the best line, "You can keep your costume of lies!!!"
The ending is redemptive. We see Charlie join the bears' opponents, but when his costume accidentally falls off, the bears protect him by ensuring the kids don't take photos of him.
