The Storm

Warning: Spoilers
The first episode of the Scottish set drama starts off with an happy occasion. Childhood sweethearts Adam and Grace recount their lives so far at their wedding, Grace is pregnant at the time. Upon their return from honeymoon the couple are murdered.

Potential suspect Lee, a crackhead is driving to the residence of one of the victim's parents who are neighbours in the Scottish countryside during a torrential storm. He crashes his car and the residents take care of him until they glimpse his face on the news. After that they put him in a cage in the barn but the next morning Lee is found dead. The murderer has been killed by the victim's families. They suffered grief and taken retribution.

With plenty of potential suspects, hidden secrets, plenty of foreboding and families at loggerheads. The first episode starts off promisingly although it does have several duff lines.

Great start

A great start to the series, interesting, and just enough info to keep you slightly confused. A lot of characters so it takes a minute to get them all sorted. Good acting and cinematography.

What Can't Be Undone

A pair of families that has suffered a terrible loss are suddenly pulled into the life of a prime suspect. He has rolled his stolen car and injured himself seriously. He is the guy who the police are looking for and some of the members of the family decide he is guilty. They lock him in a shed and while there, he is murdered. This leads to a couple situations. If he turns out to be innocent someone is a murderer (actually it doesn't matter if he is guilty). Secondly, this leads to big time suspicion and confusion.
