The title here "Selena Gomez: The Heart Wants What It Wants" gives away the name of the music video and song that was recorded by singer Selena Gomez back in 2014, so this is far from one of her most recent works. I would say that the title as well as the chorus are really cringeworthy and empty pointless pop music trying to be hidden by a seemingly relevant reference to break-up pains. The only reason why I did not even rate it lower is that Gomez in-between has some solid parts and sounds better than she usually does. Director is Dawn Shadforth who is mostly known for her music video collaborations with Kylie Minogue and the guy who plays the central character here (Shiloh Fernandez) is one you may have come across on other recent projects too. The music video is in black-and-white, but from my perspective it added nothing in terms of atmosphere, let alone beauty. Five very forgettable minutes overall and I don't recommend checking them out. Even today it seems Gomez still wants Justin Bieber. But I sure don't want this video or audio here. Not recommended.
