Very impressed with the story

I thought I was a creative writer, but this could be one of the most original screenplays I've come across. Nice job.

Strange Time Travel Movie

A spy time travel sci-fi film like no other.

The movie is a bit slow but keeps your attention throughout.

By the end of the film it takes time to comprehend what it was all about.

Not sure why the cumbersome violin case is used.

Well acted by the two main characters.

Doesn't Fizzle out.

The film is a bit confusing at first but eventually everything is explained as all the parts are brought together near the end. The story is the ultimate paradox of time travel and in this case is woven around the bartender's "joke". A clever film, slow in places but very watchable.

Surprised how well it followed the short story.

Based on the short by Robert Heinlein. I wasn't expecting much since two of his previous works were translated to the big screen and they were butchered. The basic story of "Predestination" closely followed "All You Zombies". They did fluff it out a little to fill the time allotted but no harm was done. One thing I have to laugh about: Heinlein called this story "hack" work, not worthy of his name. I and most others find it intriguing.

Woke nonsense

Warning: Spoilers
It's important to remember that this movie is billed as a sci fi flick about preventing criminal acts before they happen.

40 minutes in, where are we? Men are pigs, women are mistreated everywhere they go and zero sci fi, time traveling Ethan Hawke. 42 straight minutes of woke garbage.

SPOILERS

Hermaphrodites can't go to space. Men are chauvinist pigs again and still no idea what the beginning scene, which was gripping and interesting- was about whatsoever. Nearly half the movie was over and I was still listening to a sob story having utterly nothing to do with the sci fi start I was sold. Awful.
