Let's listen
The first episode of "Higanbana" has all the good and bad from the special that was shown almost one year and a half before. That they kept the good parts (smart women that fight against oppression within the system and that catch bad people; a good team of actresses, more than capable of dealing with their characters) is great. That they keep the bad (too much talk about couples, lame mystery, lame criminals, surreal investigation) is not.
Here a bomb seems to be on a ship where some people from the Olympics are having some kind of party. At the same time a young woman has been killed. Both cases seem to be related, but no one knows how. The "higanbana" team is sent to find the killer of the woman, and they discover more than they expected.
Everyone does a good job (even if it is strange that they decided to put this episode before in the timeline in respect to the special), but the material is so thin that Horikita Maki, Dan Rei or You can't do much with it.
