In this episode, Taylor Lautner deals with a patient who has "werewolf syndrome". Lautner first gained major stardom for starring in Twilight (2008) and its sequels as Jacob, who was a werewolf.
The doctor at the start of the episode, Dr. Mike, who is played by Jerry O'Connell, also starred in Scream 2 (1997) as Derek, who was studying at college to be a doctor. The original title of Scream 2 was also "Scream Again".
Jerry O'Connell - who plays Dr. Mike in flashbacks - is married to Rebecca Romijn, the former wife of John Stamos, who stars as Dr. Brock Holt.
Kirstie Alley was a late addition to the cast and joined the show after several episodes had been filmed for season 2. Her scenes were filmed after these episodes had been completed and were edited in later. As a result, some footage had to be cut for time. For example, when the Chanels first meet Dr. Brock in the locker room, they also met Dr. Cascade, who was in the shower next to his. Another sequence where the Chanels alter their nurse's uniforms was edited out completely, but this footage was later used for the TV commercials/promos.
There is no mention of Grace, played by Skyler Samuels, in the first season. In reality, she left the show to focus on her education.
