I watch this because I need something lightweight to distress, but already on episode three the plot starts to go down the drain.
I get it that the author(s) want to stay on the current trend of strong - but vulnerable - females, who can make it on their own against the whole male population of Australia.
However, resorting to the stupid clichè of women running out of gas because they're too dim-witted to check how much is left it's kind of defeating the purpose. Especially when said female runaways must drive through deserted stretches of land. That would be the first thing to check, no matter how airheaded you are.
And don't even mention the "let's wash our hoodies in a brook before hitting the town". How unbelievably stupid is that? As if anybody cares how clean or dirty you are when you hit a village in the middle of nowhere - or even a big town, for that matter.
