So much punch packed in one single episode!

I am a sucker for endings done right. And this series hands down beats all recent anime endings I have watched. Why? Because it makes you want more but also leaves you with a funny closure, Saitama back to one punch victories.

The series has been so detailed about Saitama powers and yet not revealing the story behind it. Like when he is thrown to moon and he throws a stone just to see how much power it will be required to go back to earth without destroying the moon. Just amazing.

It's killing me not knowing how this god came into being. Though we finally get to see (one of?) his ultimate move, the SERIOUS PUNCH. You can imagine the fight if you know he had to use this move.

It's also killing me that no one other than Genos knows Saitama's true power. But I think that's what a strongest hero is. It's not the kind of person who boasts and goes mad across the galaxy to find a match for himself (Lord Boros) or even someone who without participating calls others weak (Amai Masuku) or even the powerful telekinesis who is too full of herself (Tatsumaki) but a person who even after defeating his enemy with one move appreciates the battle they had. I think it's this humble, just want to find the right enemy type of hero that this title is so apt for. And I can't wait for Genos to learn the same from the best sensei he could have found.

This season was perfect set up stage for saitama, hero's association, character development for heroes and mystery around each one of them. In love with one punch man.

And I say that because this is the message the final episode and overall the whole show sends it to the audience, or at least this is how I understood it.

The first time I watched this episode I was expecting many answers and closure to Saitama's story arc, however the way the episode unfolded was very unsatisfactory for me... so I was very confused as to what the episode and the series was about. That's why I didn't even rate this episode right after watching it because I wanted to digest it and think about it. Finally after a day I figured it out and the episode worked quite well in the whole picture of the show so later I understood what this show really was about. This show and this episode especially is about what life would be if you had no conflict, nothing to make you want to improve yourself and become a better person. From Saitama's perspective everything was meaningless because nothing could challenge him and his life was pure boredom and nothing really mattered for him.

This show as a whole raises this question to the audience through its 12 episodes as to how a life that didn't had any challenges or obstacles look life or feel like? Would it have any meaning? And because of these questions raised by the show , for me it's one of the best shows ever created... because it's original, different, philosophical and extremely entertaining. 10/10

***SPOILER REVIEW BELLOW!***

This episode picks up where the previous one left off. It really tries to give a motivation for Saitama to start live his life again. And that reason is his match: the leader of the alien invasion who says that he has been told that was invincible. So this is what basically the show was building up to. What if Saitama would finally meet his match? How strong Saitama really is? Well just like in any other episode Saitama unleashes a super mega punch and wins the fight after several moments of clashes between the two giants. This begs the question: What would your life look like if you would loose the only thing that gave it any meaning? In this case Saitama defeating the only person who would pose a treat to him. And it really shows that life would be meaningless if that would happen and in the end Saitama goes back to one punch kills again DAAAAMMMMIIIITTTT!

After that the show develops the story of the superheroes from the big city. After its reconstruction the city arranges new headquarters for the hero association and new roads to help them deploy faster. But in the midst of that, Saitama still finds no motivation in his life. So the ending really begs the question for everyone: What brings meaning to your life? Are you like Saitama or do you have something to live for?
