As the filming was about to commence, Marin Mandir received a request from Boris Vukovic to make a documentary about him and his filming process, which Mandir approved. The documentary was later entitled 'Slice of Life'. Couriosly, Mandir and his crew soon found out that a crew from HRT was also at the same time making a parallel documentary about the main actress, Nikolina Markovic, entitled 'Extras'. Thus, during one day of filming, in the office, there were two documentary crews present on location and filming at the same time. Mandir later joked that he "made three films in one" and that he directed this movie "just so that the documentarist can have something to film".
Since Boris Vukovic was always diligently following the film crew in order to have footage for his documentary, Marin Mandir asked him to have a cameo in this film, as well. Vukovic accepted and is credited in a small scene as the "Guy on laptop" during the deserted conference in the office.
Some scenes of the conference during the weekend were indeed filmed during weekends, as well.
The long scene of the camera drive from the laptop on the table, through the hallway and into the next office room was filmed in one take. It took the camera crew seven takes until it was done right. The biggest problem was adjusting the light on three different locations. Marin Mandir and Nikolina Markovic, who were lying on the coat on the floor and had to be serious, had a difficult time not to chuckle because they would always hear the camera wheels slowly squeaking and approaching behind the walls.
