That's Some Shootin'

It seems that the accountant who was murdered was also a cowboy. That is, he was a regular to a yearly Western camp where there was riding, roping, and shooting. So Booth decides to join the party there to see what was behind the death because it was obvious that this is where the truth lay. Brennan has been left behind but decides to spice things up by showing up in her own persona. The two of them end up competitors when it comes to shooting. Booth is so full of himself that he becomes tiresome. Also, the shooting they do, for two people who have had no immediate practice, is beyond belief. Aubrey, showing up as a sidekick is pretty funny. There is also some tension going on between Angie and Hodgins involving children. And the two leads are clashing over Booth's wish to buy a motorcycle. Brennan's efforts are pretty lame. The episode is too silly to rank any higher.

I finally had a good laugh from a cornball episode ... see, its not hard to make people feel good while looking at blood and gore ... aubrey was really good as brennan and booth's posse ... talk about cowboy comic relief ... but, brennan is still a space cadet with regard to personal relations
