Plot Summary

After years as a successful artist, Brook Andrew has created his most controversial work. He sets out to find rare photographs depicting early settler curiosity towards Australia's indigenous people, to exhibit publicly for the first time. It's an emotional journey for Brook. With only hearsay evidence to go on, his quest takes him to the Royal Anthropological Institute in London where he discovers hidden portraits of past ancestors. He finds himself wrestling with the dilemma of how to reveal unseen Australian trauma yet also celebrate the real people he is compelled to bring to light.
