It's nice to see Alf back, it's just a shame that there's two story lines that require his presence going on simultaneously.The result is Irene taking up the job of helping Marilyn, who is starting to get memories back with a certain amount of rapidity.
The James storyline is a bit weird.Maddy goes from subtly probing Roo to blatant snooping to coming up with a crazy theory about James that may have some degree of truth in it.At least Alf remains suspicious.
Matt continues to be a bit pathetic and the absurdity of his liaison with Charlotte is underlined by Andy spotting his skateboard.There's an interesting idea about Charlotte, as someone who's done so many bad things that she decided to just carry on, but the fact that she was clearly a nutcase from the start kind of undermines it.
